Illustration Friday Topic: Early

Early in the morning, before the birds start singing, the kids start waking, the beds start making, the phone starts ringing, the web starts surfing and the brush starts painting... I start my day with a steaming cup of tea.

Altered prints of this mixed media piece (Tea Time) are now available in my Etsy Shoppe!   The original painting currently for sale at Artistree Co-op in Orlando.

Thanks for stopping by! xoxo - Kim

Haha I can sympathise ^-^. I love the depth of colour and the textures in this. (Plus tea is one of my favourite things!)

What a glorious photo session it was; you have so many great shots for whatever purposes. I enjoyed seeing "Tea Time" and its celebration - in images and words - of the small moments that sustain us.

I'm loving all the cracks and rich colors... Though for me, nothing gives more 'oomph' than coffee! This is just lovely! (^_^)

cant see the steam and am concerned about your butterfly burning his feet as i see he is not decoration printed on your cup but i like very much your feelings toward tea. and your heart tells it all. in the morning i rather prefer hot choclete but tea especially if it is cinnamon flavored is a good choice too
