What a week...

Its been quite a week...
We celebrated Owen's 6th Birthday at DISNEY WORLD along his friends Jordan & Amber (Krista's little ones).  The day was filled with excitement!!! (Fuzzy pictures are courtesy of my camera phone)

Owen and I teamed up with the Power Rangers to save Planet Earth...

Then Owen, Jordan & Amber engaged in some Star Wars.... and saved the entire galaxy.

During battle, Owen lost his front tooth!  (He actually lost it during his spelling test the day before, but losing it in battle sounds way more cool)

Poor Dylan was hit with an evil flu and had to go home early, leaving us one man down! (you know the kid was sick if he wanted to leave Disney World).  He is much better now!!!!

Just a quick snapshot here, after saving this castle from certain doom!

With Earth & all galaxies beyond safe from enemies (you can thank us later)...
 - We head home to wait for our next mission!

Ok - back to business....
We've done a major shop update in Cottage Industry.
You should stop by if you are in the area and check us out!
Lots of great artists here - You'll be certain to find a unique gift!

And one last reminder.... Junie B. Jones & a little monkey business opens tonight at the Orlando Rep!  Be there!!!...

Again - Thanks for making a moment to see what we've been up to.

Junie B. Jones & A Little Monkey Business

There was special delivery in the mail yesterday that I have been anticipating.  I received the promo for the Junie B. Jones production by the Orlando Repertory Theater.   Some of you may know already, but for those of you that don't, it was almost a year ago when I was asked to do the illustration for the promotional material of this production.
It was a great honor to be considered and I want to thank my friend Jeff Revels, the artistic director at The REP for the special opportunity!

Junie B. Jones And A  Little Monkey Business
Based on the Book by Barbara Park, Adapted & Music Lyrics by Joan Cushing.

January 30 - March 1, 2009

Junie B. Jones is the star of the show!  Kindergarten is where you go to not watch TV.  Fixing the upstairs toilet is a dream come true. Her new B-A-B-Y brother is a real alive baby MONKEY.  Such is the world according to Junie B. Jones in this hilarious new musical about a precocious kindergartner who just can't help shooting of her big fat mouth.

Show times:
Fridays - 7pm
Saturdays - 2 pm & 7pm
Sundays - 2pm
Sonny's Family Night: Saturday, February 21, 2009  5:30pm

So don't hesitate to get your tickets early, this is THE SHOW to see!
For those of you who haven't experienced The REP before,  you won't be disappointed!

If you are interested in joining The REP's mailing list and/or receiving the Junie B. Jones promo, visit The Rep's website and sign up to receive the 2009 production promos!

And speaking of Monkey Business...

This little guy is on his way to Austin Texas to visit my sweet little nephew!
Give him a good home - beware he is a bit cheeky!

As always, thanks for taking the time to visit our blog!

If it ain't broken - don't fix it!

You know when things are just great, but you think to yourself - "hey maybe things could be a slight bit better if I make a few changes" and then whammo - things are HORRIBLY worse than they could ever be....
So OK, I could be overreacting to a little extreme... but that is exactly what happened today when I was trying to update our blog... I found a cute little background I wanted to display for you all... and then.... "oh whats this, click here to update your blog with cool new templates".  Well of course you know I clicked.... and then that's when it happened.... I lost everything... all of our cool links that take our faithful visitors on to other groovy folk star artists' blogs, all of our foot stompin tunes that you know you all love and all of our other lovely "this and that's" that were on board.  Everything was gone with the wind!    OK... so I took a deep breath and began to rebuild and restore.  It will be a work in progress for some time, but hopefully the renovation will lead us on to discover new and dare I say it better things.    Thanks as always for visiting our blog and may you discover great things in the changes you make.

Be the change you want to see in the world.
