What a LUCKY lucky gal I was to be shot by one of the finest local photographers, Paris Carter of Paris Carter Photography. 

On a hot Florida eve, Paris and her assistant Tara plopped an old vintage sofa into the middle of a grassy green, forced the sun to set and then rolled out the magic.   

   

Before our shoot, I was a little worried that I would fumble awkwardly through a combination of instructions, mixing my left arm up with my right or that I would over-exaggerate a cheesy pouty smile while trying to get my super model groove on.... but it was nothing like that at all.   

It was candid and real.  Immediately, my worries of sucking it in and tucking it in melted away. I thank Paris for that.   She captured that artistic mood I was dreaming of and wrapped it with sexy girly sass. 

 

Thank you Paris for those creative moments and releasing the girl within those paint spattered pants.

A special thanks to my friend Tara, who gave me an Xtreme Makeover before the photo shoot. You made me feel pretty! :)

Tis a wonderful day to find your own creations on sale at your favorite little northern shoppe. If it is possible to have a crush on a store... then I am head over heals in love!!!

Catherine at Red Shoes ordered selections of my work and has them cleverly scattered about. On display on top of the blue hutch and window is "Bless This House " And kindly tucked behind the polka dot mugs is "Freshly Plucked".

Tick Tock... Splash!

Can you hear that ticking? It is soooo loud. Somebody please make it stop!

I feel like I am on a sinking ship... Swimming in a monsterous time crunch right now. So many things to do and places to go and people to see. When will I ever find the time to create???

So what would be the one thing that I would want with me if I was ever stranded on a deserted island you randomly ask... Well...if it could be only ONE thing then it would have to be a paint brush. Then I suppose I would smash some berries for paint and chop down a tree for a wood block canvas .... How splendid it would be to have all the time in the world to create!

Okay, now that I have that imaginary emergency all planned out.... I am inspired to paint the sand and the sea.... hmmmmm I am thinking I might spot a mermaid or two along my way!
